Your money is protected at every step of the process.

Project funded via Stripe

When you hire a developer, the total contract amount is charged and held in Stripe escrow. Your card is only charged once.

Milestone delivery & review

Developers submit work per milestone. You review deliverables and choose to approve, request revisions, or escalate a dispute.

Payment released on approval

When you approve a milestone, the corresponding payment is released to the developer. You control every release.

Invoice generated automatically

A detailed invoice is generated for every transaction. Download PDFs from your orders page or receive them via email.

Common questions about payments, refunds, and invoicing.

When am I charged?

You're charged when you hire a developer and fund the contract. Payments are held in escrow and released to the developer as you approve each milestone.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. If a milestone hasn't been delivered, you can request a revision or dispute it. Undelivered milestones can be refunded. Completed and approved milestones are final.

How does proration work for subscriptions?

If you upgrade or downgrade a managed service plan mid-cycle, the difference is prorated for the remaining billing period.

Do you handle taxes?

Invoices include applicable tax information. Tax handling depends on your jurisdiction. We recommend consulting your accountant for tax-specific questions.

What currencies do you support?

All transactions are processed in USD. Currency conversion fees from your bank may apply for international payments.

How do I update my payment method?

Go to Settings in your dashboard, then navigate to the Billing section. You can add, remove, or update payment methods through the Stripe customer portal.
